Do Eyelashes Grow Back"Do eyelashes grow back?" my daughter asked me just yesterday after getting to close to a camp fire and singeing them slightly. Of course they do I replied. Your eyelashes are just like any other hair on your body. If you lose some they will grow back. Eyelashes will grow to the same length as they were before. Just as the hair on your head will only grow a certain length, so will your eyelashes. It has been reported that the time frame is about 4 weeks to return to full length. Even if they fall out from general wear and tear like rough make up removal or using an eyelash curler incorrectly your lashes wil still grow back. In the event that you were to lose a considerable amount at once then that will take a bit longer for all of them to grow back. I reckon the best course of action are preventative measures whereby looking after the lashes properly beofre they fallout is better than trying to find a fix etc. Reading my article on eyelashes falling out will explain that in more detail. One myth I will bust here and now is that cutting your eyelashes promotes thicker and longer eyelashes. That is so far from the truth. Let nature take it's course and allow your eyelashes to grow as they are supposed to and with a bit of TLC you will never have to ask "do eyelashes grow back?" |
